When I walked into work today, I had no intention of quitting my job. But sometimes, life has a way of throwing you a curveball. As soon as I sat at my desk, my boss called me into her office and told me my position was being eliminated. At first, I was devastated. Then I thought, wait a moment, I can find things to do, so why not make it happen today.
I had worked so hard for this company and was now being let go with no warning. But then I realized that this was a sign. It was time for me to move on and make something happen for myself. So, 24 hours ago, I quit my job and have never been happier.
No longer am I a slave to the corporate world. No longer do I have to answer to a boss who doesn't appreciate me. Today is the start of a new chapter in my life, and I am going to Make It Happen Today! Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Lord.”
