In the world of PPC advertising, Google AdWords dust their competition as the best platform to do business on.
Let's look at the net ad revenues of Google AdWords. They were almost $30 billion in 2016, and were projecting that they would grow to $45 billion in 2019. Now days, even though I haven't looked, I am sure it is a good bit higher than that shows.
Taking second place to Google AdWords would be Facebook, but if you'll notice, they still are behind by a huge margin.
Now I bet you are asking yourself, wonder why Google AdWords dominates the PPC game? Now honestly, this is a simple answer… Google is the largest search engine on the internet.
All other search engines combined can't even touch the power and user reach that Google has.
What does this mean for you? Well, with billions of users on Google, I would really think about advertising with them at some point and drawing in some of your piece of the pie.
Yes, you could advertise on other search engines, but the user base is smaller and this makes it hard to get to your target audience that you desire to promote your products or services to.
Keeping the above in mind, Google AdWords is the best search engine to set your sights on when it comes to your PPC strategies.
Now, here is how Google AdWords work… AdWords is built based on a bidding-based system. This means you compete for certain placement by the price you are willing to pay for each click.
These keywords will cost you anywhere from $1 – $500 or more, all depending on the field or topic you are pulling the keywords for. Keywords are going to cost whatever amount your competitors are willing to pay for them.
In an example, keywords for a Family Dr. Office might cost $50 per click because out of this case could be hundreds of dollars of profit. They have it figured out that even with that much money for a click, the profits overall still show them coming out on top and not in the hole.
While we do have the other hand where the cheaper products & services will yield fewer costs per click.
Well then, where can I advertise, you might ask?
Google AdWords is created with multiple advertising options. Let's explain what might work best for different businesses here.
